Somehow yesterday I spent an insane amount of time watching make-up tutorials by the amazing Lisa Eldridge. They’re highly addictive. I love make-up and I love buying it. Ok, so I may be a recovering product junkie (from my salon working days.) After watching all those lovely products being used yesterday, I ended up with a list of about 12 products to get, a desire to wear false eyelashes more often, and to really come up with a daily routine for myself. As of now I don’t have favorites, when times got tough I started buying whatever was on sale at the pharmacy. Oh so sad.

To compensate for this impending shopping spree, I also have the desire to throw out the tub of make-up I’ve been holding on to for 3 – 10+ years. Don’t judge, you know you have some old make-up floating around… you know, just in case. Just in case you want an eye infection. So here is the list of products I scribbled down while watching the tutorials, I would love to hear your experience with any of these or your favorite products.

L’Oreal – Infallible Eyeliner – Night Day Black
Kevyn Aucoin – Eyelash Curler
Prestige – Fresh Glow Baked Mineral Blush – 01 Pink
Pixi – Sheer Cheek Gel – Natural
No7 – Perfect Lips Liner – Nude
Chanel – Vitalumiere Aqua
Suqqu – Eyebrow Liquid Pen
Clinique – Airbrush Concealer
ELF – Beauty Encyclopaedia – Face Edition
Laura Mercier – Hydrating Foundation Primer
Max Factor – False Lash Effect Mascara – Black

I use Laura Mercier – Hydrating Foundation Primer. love it is amazing.
These are some products I can’t live without:

Bobbi Brown – Liquid Gel Liner in Black. (You must purchase the brush with it, but my gel liner lasts for about a year. Worth the splurge)
Clinique – High Lengths Mascara (It’s a comb brush but it is amazing)
Nars – Orgasm Blush (Perfect Color)

Have fun shopping! Purchasing make-up is so thrilling to me haha.

highly recommend the clinique airbrush concealer! love your blog.

  • Pistachio

Love it. I could use some inspiration. Working from home well, I can be real lazy with the make-up.

Oh working from home… I’ve had my hair tucked in a winter hat since yesterday.

love the inner beauty addict – bring her out more often! i’m also lusting the kevin aucoin curler, seems like it has moved ahead of everyone’s favorite shu uemura recently

  • Brodie

if you want a really good false lash effect mascara, i would highly rec. Dior’s Diorshow. I have gone the lengths to find the best, and nothing else seems to have nearly the same effect as Dior 🙂

Thanks for the tips everyone. It looks like I have some shopping to do!

I love watching those Lisa Eldridge videos, too! I always want to jump in the car and drive to Sephora afterward.

Definitely get the Laura Mercier primer! I started using it about a month ago and it really gives my makeup lasting power and evens out my complexion. Highly worth the money! Like Chelsea mentioned, I also love the NARS Orgasm blush, but as a duo with the Laguna bronzer. It really brightens up your complexion without looking fake. I love those two products!
