In the most recent issue of Lucky Peach, David Chang talked about how he often gives the wrong answer to “what is your favorite restaurant?” The real answer is Joe Beef, a restaurant with a growing reputation located in a working-class neighborhood of Montreal. In The Art of Living According to Joe Beef, co-owners/chefs Frédéric Morin and David McMillan, along with writer and former Joe Beef staff member Meredith Erickson, present 135 unforgettable recipes showcasing Joe Beef’s unconventional approach to French market cuisine. With recipes for things like Pork Fish Sticks and a Foie Gras Breakfast Sandwich it is a drool worthy read for sure. I can’t wait to try out some of these recipes. (thanks again Bub)
