Geometrical, clean, sleek, modern dresses with color blocking, combining jewel & muted tones, and patterns. I had to double check to make sure I was watching the right show.
Although the end of the show brought through the staple gowns we will surely see on the red carpet, the majority of the J. Mendel’s S/S 2012 line was quite different than lines past, but with the commonality of airy fabric and perfectly balanced to create a sophisticated sexy silhouette. Normally I dream of having one of his pieces for a fancy event I’ll never attend, but with this line, there are several pieces I can see wearing in many realistic situations. This is dangerous.
