Vests over jackets over sweaters over shirts over skirts over socks over tights. There is little I love more than layering. I’m looking forward to warmer weather (I say this as there is snow on the ground), but I am going to miss piling on half my closet. Maybe my goal for this year will be to find ways to layer without adding warmth…. hmmm. What are your favorite layering pieces for warm or cold weather?

Yay! It’s finally the weekend. Man, this week has been so long and grey. Now in just a few hours, we’ll have some friends arriving for a fun weekend. Which may or may not include…. rollerskating! Yeah, that’s right.

Smell: I heart Target and woodsy candles.
Sound: Tomorrow we’ll be seeing a bunch of bands play at the Russell Industrial Center, including The Flashbulb.
Taste: Tofu Edamame Nuggets from Trader Joe’s – a new quick meal favorite.
Touch: These tights. I’m captivated.
Bold colors, print on print, spiked shoes, and the perfect pant length. Yes please! MSGM’s pre-fall 2012 collection is super sweet. I can’t wait to get my paws on a pair of those print pants.
Jean or trouser, straight or skinny. I’m in love with a pant line stops at the ankle. If you aren’t about to take a big pile to the tailor, just rock the french cuff.

Remember how I told you about my super talented friend Erin Murphy who made my wedding dress and how you would be hearing more about her soon… well that time has come. After working alongside designers such as Vera Wang, J Mendel, Alexander Wang, and Narciso Rodriguez, Erin has took the leap and launched her own line, {EM} Reservoir. For the past several months I was working branding, employing the skills of my former co-worker to nail down the specifics. We created the logo, business cards, clothing labels, and the website. It’s been a busy few months, to say the least…
