Travel Regrets

Surprisingly, my one travel regret is always the lack of shopping. I start off with the mindset that the majority of my time will be spent wandering the streets of this new place, observing, people watching, taking mini breaks at cafes, and discovering amazing stores with to die for things. Like Fog Linen, a beautiful little boutique in Tokyo with the most amazing linens.

Then I’m reminded not only am I not traveling by myself or with a female companion, I’m traveling with the Bub. And although he is an amazing travel partner and patient shopping assistant… he’s not a shopper.

If I walked into this wood floored, white walled, wonder shop and spotted this pile of unknown linens.  My eyes would widen and the lust would ensue, I would buy that pile without even knowing what they are… I mean, look at them, who cares what they are, they’re gorgeous, right? And now I will never have them, seriously when is the next time I’ll be in Tokyo? Wait, what’s this, international orders online… oh hello new napkins.
